For several years now, CCFR Community Outreach has participated in the Big Kahuna Bartender Challenge, a fundraiser to support Community Living. Serving over 1,100 children, adults, and their families, Community Living is a local non-profit that works to enrich the lives of people with disabilities so they can achieve their highest potential. The CCFR Community Outreach has supported the St. Peters Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels program for over a decade, personally delivering nearly 8,000 hot meals to home bound senior citizens and providing over $100,000 in continued financial support through our annual Trivia Night Fundraiser. When one of our own was diagnosed with MS in 2012 at the young age of 28, we became very passionate for finding a cure to this debilitating disease. We’ve donated over $36,000 to find the cure, and every year, we participate in the MS walkathon by walking, running, and volunteering wherever we can.
We provide continual financial support for Disabled Athlete Sports Association via our annual Mud Volleyball Tournament, and we support them by volunteering our time and manpower at various events and activities throughout the year. For more information about DASA, visit www.dasasports.org
