Raising Funds for DASA

  • GOAL $20000

We provide continual financial support for Disabled Athlete Sports Association via our annual Mud Volleyball Tournament, and we support them by volunteering our time and manpower at various events and activities throughout the year.

Our goal—supporting the Disabled Athlete Sports Association.

For the past several years CCFR Community Outreach has had the pleasure to work with Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA) from volunteering at their larger competitions like the Gateway Games and on a weekly basis by hosting their Boccia team at our Station 2 on Thursday nights.

Additionally, a portion of our proceeds from the annual Mud Volleyball tournament are used specifically to help further DASA’s mission of providing competitive sports & fitness opportunities for those living with a physical, visual or hearing disability.

This year we were proud to present DASA with a check for $3000 along with a customized Boccia ramp that shares both the colors and logo of our new firetrucks along with their team name, DASA Dynamites. The ramp is specifically designed to articulate and change positions in an infinite number of ways, allowing DASA athletes to continue to compete at a high level of play.
