Central County Fire & Rescue

Our Community Outreach Program: Off-duty Firefighters committed to the People and Community.

At the heart of every professional firefighter of Central County Fire & Rescue is a desire to help others and to serve our community and the citizens we protect. We realized that the need for assistance extends beyond the immediate emergencies of putting out house fires or other emergencies. That is why the Central County Community Outreach Program, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization was founded.

We provide assistance to our citizens on an individual basis when there is a need beyond the emergencies that our normal job meets. We show up prepared to solve problems both big and small in the hope of making your day a little better.

Our Outreach program is funded solely through donations and the fundraising efforts of off-duty CCFR employees.

Some of the ways we help individuals in need include:

  • Building and installing handicap ramps
  • Repairing/providing heaters
  • Providing cold weather clothing
  • Providing food and supplies
