Causes We Support

Scholarship Program

Since 2018, the CCFR Community Outreach has granted scholarships for one graduating senior at each of our five high schools, ranging from $500 to $1000 each.  Scholarship recipients have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to community service, having volunteered throughout their high school years to improve our community.

Coat Drive for Children in Need

No child should have to go without a coat! Working with the elementary schools in our fire district to identify children in need of cold-weather clothing, we meet the need…no matter the number of kids needing help.

Community Assistance

As we’re out in the community and see a need, we meet it. Handicap ramps, fixing/replacing heaters in winter, helping flood/Fire victims with recovery, groceries for the single mom struggling to make ends meet, whatever the need we’re looking for the solution.

Community Living

For several years now, CCFR Community Outreach has participated in the Big Kahuna Bartender Challenge, a fundraiser to support Community Living.  Serving over 1,100 children, adults, and their families, Community Living is a local non-profit that works to enrich the lives of people with disabilities so they can achieve their highest potential.  Check them out at www.communitylivingmo.org

For several years we have been able to adopt families for the holidays through the local elementary schools.

This year we look to help approximately 15 families have a little brighter Christmas by providing needed clothes and some special presents under their tree.

The families have the choice to remain anonymous or Santa lets us drop the gifts off on the fire truck to the kids a couple days before Christmas.
